Veterans’ Squares and Memorials in Beverly

Did you know that there are over 3 dozen veteran squares and memorials in the city of Beverly? We’ve seen the signs: Hellard Square, Pasolini Square, and Lantz Square but do you know the history of the soldiers for which these squares and memorials are named? How about Cooney Field or Dix Park? This Veterans Day, we will answer those questions while exploring some of the histories of these soldiers to make sure that their names and their lives are not forgotten.
