Old Planters Walking Tour

Walking tours offer insight into the hidden history of Beverly and introduce you to its key events and major figures. Join us as we explore the area that was known as the Basse River Side where the five “Old Planters” (Conant, Balch, Trask, Woodberry & Palfrey) received a “Thousand Acre Grant” in 1635. During this walk we will visit a multitude of sites that have connections to these families and how they helped shape Meet at the corner of Elliott and McKay Streets. $10/free for members. Beverly as we know it today. Rain or shine; in case of severe weather, check with us that day.
